I wrote a song once (and only once) to mark the passing of a friend who dropped dead at the age of 43 on his way home from playing a gig in a local hotel. The chorus of my song goes:

We should live a little harder

Love a little more

Fear a little less

To step out the front door.

I see that as a recipe for breaking the pattern, but I keep not doing it. Crazy, innit?

The song is here: https://youtube.com/watch?v=G5MqrY-Gvtc&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE

That's really cool. I never thought about it that way before. Thank you for the great advice! Hope you have a great weekend and I am looking forward to seeing what you write next.😊
